nighthawk2174 Posted November 9, 2018 (edited) UOAF DCS (JTAC) Session 13 - Sunday [2018-11-11, 1800z] This event will be the second event with the playstyle using a human JTAC and game master to make the fight as dynamic as possible. Attention to real life CAS procedures will be executed to the point that the player can tailor their immersion based on their knowledge of such procedures (JP 3-09.3 comms or plain english). An individualized script will be provided to each flight leader that will allow them to simply read off what to say to sound cool on the radio, no advanced knowledge of CAS procedure is necessary to play or lead a flight. This mission will be a continuation of the previous one. Truth Data / Tactical Situation: NOTES: Road in valley is MSR Black at the end of MSR Black are two tunnel entrances and exits that are possible targets (Baguettes specifically so know how to use GBU's and yes this method works through clouds as well) Situation: Caucasian troops are retreating from the Beslan Bulge after the catastrophic defeat inflicted upon them earlier. Now though a large portion of their surviving troops are attempting to retreat through the Souh Ossesian region occupied by Linadia... as we are not at war with Linadia and don't want to be we can not attack them once they are inside south Ossetia. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE ANY ALLIED FLIGHTS OR GROUND FORCES TO FIRE ON TROOPS INSIDE OF OR ENTER LINADIAN TERRITORY. ONCE THROUGH THE TUNNEL CONNECTING MSR BLACK AND SOUTH OSSETIA ALL ENEMY UNITS ARE OFF LIMITS. For your own reference Linadia is south ossetia and the rest of rlf Georgia to the west of the eastern most border of south ossetia... reference map if you have no clue what i'm talking about. GM/JTAC info As a JTAC/GM you goal is simple... to make the mission fun. GM will control ground units and can act as AWACS. JTAC will coordinate the ground attack and will lase stuff as needed. Both JTAC and GM will be in the same teamspeak channel to be able to talk to each other and coordinate their actions... if only one person is available they to an extent must take on both tasks but feel free to forgo certain tasks such as AWACS and coordinating the ground attackers to lessen your workload. But make sure to assign missions, move ground units, and lase when needed... Since this mission is at night make sure to have these keybinding set: Also JTAC's you may end up lasing targets... which means changing laser codes... Basically just look for which laser code you currently have set and then use c if you need to change it... Laser codes for Enfield (Baguette 2000's can't change their laser codes midflight you have to change your codes!!!)
