  2. Oups. A bit surprising since I could swear it only used Apex and vanilla stuff. Oh well, I don't have a computer to try and fix anything.
  3. As I had mentioned in my regular poll in October, my personal situation was a bit... Precarious. Unfortunately push has come to shove. Next week I'll have to move and I won't manage to bring the desktop computer with me. That'll mean no gaming for a while. I'm not sure for how long this situation is going to last but it'll be at least a few months. After that, who knows. I may manage to come back, or to have the computer shipped to me, or something. I'll have my laptop with me so it's likely I'll keep in touch via forums/discord. I'll also try to play a bit this weekend but that depends on how the packing will go. As for my missions: I have already talked to and authorized both Perfk and Blackhawk to edit them, fix them if they break, that kind of thing. Big thanks for all the friendship and good times. I'll miss you lot. Again.
  4. Ah, Arma. Did you try re-slotting? Did this happen to one particular slot or person, or to any JIP? My first reaction was to think that this mission has been played several times before with no issues. But I'm not sure if the v2 has been played much. I wouldn't know where to start looking for the problem. It could be HC-related, or it could be Olsen 3.2 related, as these were the main changes from v1. But I use same method for HC and Olsen 3.2 in several other missions, and so far there were no similar problems reported even after they were played several times over. tl;dr: I have no clue.

  6. I wish I was that good of a learner, to have gotten my training in my first 3-4 missions on the server. Anyway, I don't think the reference was for competency "requirements" but rather competency "ideals". So it wouldn't be anything akin to B2E at all if they're for reference. Rather than something they'll be immediately kicked for if they don't comply, it should be something for people to look up to and know where and how they can improve. I have the impression a number of folks have the "feeling" they suck but they have little idea of what to do in order to improve and be more effective in whatever role. I think Maffa is on the money in this thread. In any case, one needs to be a bit careful with that slippery slope there. Having requirements is not at odds with an open community. Luckily UO does not allow trolls, and I don't think anyone sees it as less open a community because of that. Lastly, you are referring to basic level of competency... But in which role? Because if it's for rifleman I can see your point. Yet if it's for SL, then I have to disagree. In fact I almost hope they don't get their training in their first 3-4 missions on the server because, more likely than not, they'd be learning it wrong. And they'd never know it, because there's very little material, reading, training, or references to point out to any better ways of doing things.

  8. Which is fair enough, but maybe a non-obtrusive little warning on the slotting screen (maybe on the slot description) is not a bad idea and could help.

  13. End conditions failed because of the UAV. The UAV is counted as a unit and was left behind (probably the "independent sitting in the middle of the map" you see), so the end condition didn't trigger because not all indfor units were in the area. I'll fix this shortly for next version. As for the slots, it's because of headless client. 25 players + 2xHC slots. What's bothering me the most is that both larger QRFs went haywire running in circles instead of actually responding to the player's assault. Will investigate, but it was one of the things I was fairly confident was working fine during testing...
