  1. “Give a man a fire and he’s warm for the day. But set fire to him and he’s warm for the rest of his life.” ―Terry Pratchett Words to live by. RIP Sir Terry Pratchett
  2. Looking good. The case isn't jammed in a corner under a desk is it? Need to let that hot air go somewhere.
  3. I agree with Dave. Changing the fan won't do much. You could do a combination of: - increase the size of the heatsink to improve efficiency - Add fans to the case to improve airflow. eg front case fans pulling air in, top, side and rear fans pushing hot air out. - Move the case to give clearance for good airflow
  4. You could apply some heat. Oxy torch then continue bashing.
  5. If you have an Aldi supermarket. They have yearly motorcycle gear special sales. I just picked up a textile jacket and pants. They are actually rated to european standards. CE EN 13595, level 2 certified. Extremely good value for the price.
  6. If you are planning to take it to the track I would invest in a leather jacket that can zip into leather pants. For day to day use the jacket could be worn with kevlar jeans eg draggins or similar. You would need a wet weather oversuit in case of rain though. Of course if you don't want to compromise, I would get a one piece leather suit for the track then a waterproof textile jacket and pants combo for day to day.
  7. I'd be inclined to save a bit more so you can do it in one go. With such an old system it's a pain to incrementally replace old with new. If you can't wait, i'd keep an eye on the second hand market.
  8. He certainly had an difficult conundrum. Try to save the climber or go for the summit.
  9. For your budget, that looks pretty solid. You could tweak your Mobo choice depending on what features you plan to use. eg I prefer to hardwire my LAN, as the computer is right next to the router. So I wouldn't bother with wifi.
  10. That is exceptional! Keep it up Krause.
  11. Was wondering where you went. See you back soon.
  12. If you want to test things out, you can always jump onto the training server and experiment.
  13. Sound Card: ASUS Xonar Essence STX. It depends on what you plan to play, and what you intend to listen through. If you don't listen to high bitrate recordings or use decent headphones or speakers, then save your money.
