  1. as a foreigner and somebody who wanders around lots of arma communities, i guarantee you that United Pacific is actually is THE best tactical community around. you guys need to get out from your usual snobbery and extremely high expectations, as the picture around far from what you expect. and it's rather sad picture seriously, even at this poit UP is outclassing everything that is currently exists, but you don't know that because you only sit here, so you guys have ALL the rights to claim to be the best tactical community in arma, probably worldwide the only people may have an opinion like UP is not good enough are the people who don't play anywhere else. seriously. take my word on this one
  2. i was slotted as ftl for squad one team alpha after regrouping on RV we've been told to start pushing to the north, which we did, after reaching compound 4 and on the way to GUN 1 to shoot it with AT, i've been told on radio that our SL is dead and that i should take command, i called 1'6 on long range station that 1'1 is currently next to GUN 1 and and asking to check fire on bunkers right next to it as we will stay there, 1'6 told to fall back to compound 1 where, i confirmed that we are moving out on lr and was shot dead walking out from the bunker
  3. i can download, use and switch between mods from pws repository instead of downloading it from armaholic + it allow me to auto join servers overall it's no brainer option due to pws repository and ease of use. i can play anywhere and anyhow using it and it's great.
  4. no matter how buggy and annoying PWS can be sometimes, i would still choose it any time any day over a3sync. pws is amazing tool, i can forgive it being crazy from time to time. sorry a3sync, you just don't cut it.

  6. as i know, if you don't place ALiVE AI skill module it should not conflict with anything Ai related
  7. i still don't get it, did you actually tested alive + zeus coupled performance on estimated numbers or not?

  9. enjoying serverside configs alot, the only thing that bothers me a little bit is white screen of pain is too rough and alive still didn't integrated with you, other than that this is the best alternative to ACE i tried also, would be cool if players were able to wake up from being down from time to time, instead of lying down for whole 600 seconds aaaand on other note.. is it possible to have some script command to create an a terminal so other players can use it to watch helm cams, since i don't want them to have tables, but to be able to watch the mission progress back at base using terminal...

AlLiVE coupled with Zeus could be much better combo than just zeus alone alive have some obvious features such as being able to populate whole map with just a few clicks also to place asembled bases and checkpoints populated with enemies (using zeus) and more impostantly Alive have MISSION GENERATION so you don't even need to create whole things yourself, if you are lazy

  12. sthud is a must for public sessions. yeah, it may be considered as "cheat" or anything but all it was aimed for and all it does is saving alot of time for organization. and time is the most precious resource especially when you have around 2-3 hours to play staying up up on night. it makes stuff quick and simple for squad leader and all squad. i don't see anything terribad with it. it enhance the team play, what else you should care about?..

  18. YES! tey made it! Eagle Dynamics relised open beta of their brand new simulator - Bell UH-1 HUEY the Iroquois. YES! Everybody who read book "Chickenhawk" by Robert Mason (former US Cavalery pilot) can jizz in their pants right now! [video=youtube] So how awesome this sim really is? FULL READ HERE well i'm not a pilot myself and i can't claim myself to be anything other than casual sim entusiast. on my list of helicopter sims i played: (short one, i know i'm a scrub) X-Plane -> sim difficulty (no other option lol) Black Shark -> sim difficulty Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 & MFSX + hover controll heli realism mod -> sim diff ofc Take on Helicopters & ToH + hover controll realism config -> sim diff ofc so on my taste i find it amazing as fuck for 3 major reasons: 1) flight model FM is supposed to be authentic (not a pilot, never flied UH-1) compared to X-Plane it's more responsive, have an ACTUAL THROTTLE control compared to BS it's a bit unstable (may be i should fly with force trimms system enabled, idk) compared to MSFX+HC quite shaky, collective can fuck you up compared TOH and ToH+HC quite unstable, collective can fuck you up overall: i didn't noticed a delay between input and actual blades movement for some reason. bird is controllable even with force feeback enabled on joystick and force trimms disabled as well as any trimmers ingame. so shit feels real but not as hard as i expected. made couple misstakes on landings due collective drops, but other than that there are no complications at all. surprisingly. in flight model atleast. So, how to get this shit? tell me nao! dat's easy1 bro step 1. download DCS world (5,87 gb) from ED site. thats a main module. SU-25 is avaible for FREE on download. step 2. buy the UH-1 game itself here you can use visa, paypal or american express the price is 49.99 usd Expensive? tell me about it when you buy another cod and dlc for it or any other shity game while DSC are simulators of real aircrafts and live for ages. not your average 15 h game but infinite replayability + you know what? flying in DCS is equal to flight on real thing. so if you know how to fly a plane here, you can sit in real one and do the same shit. YAY! step 3. download it and install it step 4. activate key step 6. ENJOY
  19. warthog is not good for flying choppers due 1) lack of axis for throttle roll 2) whole device configuration if you fly planes and your throttle is on table - yes this joy is just amazing. if it's mounted on side where you can't see all these tumblers and don't even look there at all, you go with G940 rudder pedals are probably most essencial piece of controls for attack helicopters. is there any people who mostly drive choppers with throttle on table?... like seriously... -_-'

Logitech G940. no contest you get rudder pedals, throttle and mag joy at once. joy have 3 trimms, pinky switch, dpad and mini joy, shit ton of buttons and force feedback throttle have dpad, mini-joy, 2 axises, shit ton of buttons and 3 profile switches pedals are solid and you can change density for turns quality is superb and if you drive choppers like me you can easily mount throttle upside down on side of chair without much hassle
