  1. While an opinion poll in which anyone can vote might happen (or might not) UO is specifically set up so that Regulars make decisions that effect the entire playerbase without the consent of the members. This is literally how the charter spells out operations. That said I'm not terribly interested in what an opinion poll would have to show. I'd much rather ask individual members their opinions.
  2. What is the point of scheduling advanced or specialized courses when the majority of the playerbase doesnt attend basic practice sessions?
  3. I like this proposal. I definitely agree with hosting things internally. A suggestion would be keeping the campaign thread limited to the posts listed in the proposal (Campaign Marshall's strategy updates, Archiver's save updates, maybe limited discussion regarding strategy) and then any time the Archiver updates the save and posts in the thread, they can also include a link to an AAR thread. That way the campaign thread is not crowded with AAR's, and the AAR's have a dedicated place to go. If the AAR subforum were created you could then have a thread for each campaign event. Example: The White Lotus campaign is being used. The main campaign thread has two posts in it (listed above: the Marshall's OP with the requirements and strategy update, and the Archiver's update). The Archiver's post also links to a thread titled something like White Lotus DD/MM/YYYY AARs. The OP of the given thread could list each mission flown with package info like flight callsigns, pilots, tasking, ACMI downloads, etc, and pilots could then post AAR's at will in that thread. This would result in a very clean and easy-to-use campaign thread (preventing disorganization/confusion) and a one-stop place for AAR's.
