  1. UOAF BMS Session 380 - Saturday [2019-04-13, 1800z] THEATER: NORDIC POLAR VORTEX v2.3 PRE-PLANNED CAS BACKGROUND Red Ground Forces significantly outnumber NATO forces in the north. KARUNA CITY is vital; without it, NATO cannot achieve victory in the ground war. While the city is currently under NATO control, a ground battle is about to be waged outside the city, with Blue Mechanized Units racing to engage Red Armor. NATO Air Assets must make sure this battle goes favorably. MISSION One flight of Norwegian F-16s will perform PRE-PLANNED CAS. FALCON 1 needs to knock out as much of the 232nd Tank Battalion as possible. FALCON 1 can transition to covering the package withdrawal, if needed. Two flights of USAF F-16s will perform BARCAP. COWBOY 1 will perform BARCAP in the NORTH, protecting NATO Leopard Battalions. FURY 1 will perform BARCAP in the SOUTH, providing cover for FALCON 1. SITUATION NOTE: Friendly mechanized ground units are on their way to fight against the ground target. Be sure NOT to fire on friendly forces. MISSION PLAN: The goal is to win this ground battle while simultaneously halting further incursions into NATO airspace. Both BARCAPs must hold their station for a minimum of 10 minutes. THREAT ANALYSIS MUD THREATS: Manpads and AAA. SA-10. Launchers are reported at Nederton, but Intelligence believes all Flap Lids have been destroyed. SA-17. None reported in the immediate area, but some have been spotted further east. Friendly forces have been moving to secure KARUNA and KROKVIK. Support for ground troops in the north will be granted in the form of a PRE-PLAN CAS Mission. MISSION Two flights of Norwegian F-16AM-NO 331 will perform CAS. GYPSY 1 will focus on the 202nd Mech Battalion, TARGET ALPHA. COWBOY 2 will focus on the 232nd Tank Battalion, TARGET BRAVO. 3. UOAF BMS Session 377 - Saturday [2019-03-23, 1800z] THEATER: NORDIC POLAR VORTEX v2.3 DOWNLOAD: MISSION DATA CARD OCA STRIKE BACKGROUND IVALO AB has been identified as the most optimally located RED airbase. Despite already being successfully bombed in the past by NATO forces, IVALO has been repaired and is currently being used for strategic Strike packages in the North. MISSION Two flights of USAF F-16s will perform ESCORT and SEAD respectively from EVENES. WEASEL 1 will knock out any and all SAM threats in the vicinity of the target and transition to an ESCORT role. FALCON 2 will fly ESCORT and establish local air superiority at the Target Area. When cleared hot, a flight of Norwegian F-16s, callsign SHARK 1, will begin the bombing run. ABORT TARGETS Since the amount of RED Air is extremely high, it is very possible that the package may not reach the primary target. In this event, two secondary targets have been selected, designated as Abort Target NORTH and Abort Target SOUTH. If the package lead calls for an ABORT of the primary mission, SHARK 1 can be directed to attempt to drop its bombs on either of the abort targets (or both). THREAT ANALYSIS MUD THREATS: Manpads and AAA along flight plan. SA-10. Multiple are reported, but intelligence believes all Flap Lids have been destroyed. SA-17. SA-6. ENEMY BASE ASSESSMENT: IVALO AB (Primary Objective) 16x SU-27 14 An-24 18 SU-30M HOYBUKTMOEN (North East) 4 IL-78 16 SU-27 2 A-50 14 SU-25 KUUSAMO (South East) 2 A-50 18 SU-30MKK 18 SU-24M 18 MiG-23ML PACKAGE
  4. In for Falcon2, if available.
  5. ESCORT sounds good. Falcon 2 or Fury 2.
  6. Escort, unless we need more bodies for SEAD/DEAD/OCA
