  1. UOAF BMS Session 385 - Saturday [2019-05-18, 1800z] THEATER: BMS 4.34 Korea RESERVE YOUR SLOT Mission INI download Notes: The F1 frequency in the BMS cfg needs to be change to 365.05 (the UHF 6 freq) so that the human awacs will work. Also everyone should edit IVC.cfg to outsiders = all. Mission Overview: Mustang1 (SWEEP) Package #: 3151 (Countersea) Pkg-Mission: Strike the Kuznetsov CSG Station Area: 52 nm southeast of Pusan. Time on Station: 19:35:44 Situation: The purpose of this attacked is to provoke the enemy into defending his airspace en masse, allowing our fighters to engage in a decisive battle and eliminate the enemies ability to contest the skies. To achieve this a TASMO from the 99th FTR Squadron and a DEAD from the 14th FTR squadron will conduct follow up attacks on the enemies carrier group and integrated air defense in the vicinity of Tsushima island. Once the primary targets are destroyed, the two strike packages will continue towards the secondary target of Pusan AB and strike targets of opportunity. Destruction of enemy aircraft is the priority. The enemy will be forced to either engage us in the air or face the destruction of their fighter force on the ground. Additionally, the destruction of the enemy battle group and nearby IADS will facilitate operations to the south of the peninsula in the future. This will hopefully allow us to bypass the main enemy defenses to strike against the coastal airbases with less difficulty. The enemy forces arrayed against us here will be formidable. The enemy carrier battle group fields a significant fighter contingent, consisting of 33 Sukhoi Su-33 Fighters. Pusan Airbase to the North fields 14 Mig-31, 12 Mig-27, and 14 Su-27. Furthermore, the southern coast features a robust IAD's, consisting of numerous SA-10 and SA-5 SAMS, and numerous low altitude sams and AAA. Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures: It must be emphasized that the objective of this mission is to destroy as many aircraft as possible. This means that it may not be necessary for the strike packages to actually hit their targets, although they should make every effort to do so. The strike package is expected to ingress to the target even if it loses fighter cover. The SWEEP flights will attempt to stay with the strike package but will be redirected to aerial targets as they appear. The mission will be directed by the package commander who will be aboard the AWACS. Flights will not act independently of the AWACS except as necessity dictates. AWACS will be directing flights to specific targets and coordinating the package as a team. Tactical decisions are left to flight leads and element leads depending on the context. Flight leads are encouraged to give their elements a high degree of autonomy. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/462101275752923136/579235582316642314/unknown.pnghttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/462101275752923136/579235582316642314/unknown.png Package Elements: x = Primary Flight Callsign: Flt #: Role: Aircraft: Task: Weasel1 3152 ( x ) TASMO 4 KF-16C ROKAF Strike enemy ships T/O: 19:05:15 Push: 19:18:50 Tgt: 19:53:23 IFF: M124/4/110/25304-7/36404-7 Satan1 3157 SWEEP 4 KF-16C ROKAF Clear sweep area of hostile aircraft T/O: 19:02:15 Push: 19:34:09 Tgt: 19:47:56 IFF: M124/4/110/25310-3/36410-3 Mustang1 3158 SWEEP 4 KF-16C ROKAF Clear sweep area of hostile aircraft T/O: 19:01:15 Push: 19:14:50 Tgt: 19:35:44 IFF: M124/4/110/25314-7/36414-7 Panther1 3159 SWEEP 4 KF-16C ROKAF Clear sweep area of hostile aircraft T/O: 19:03:15 Push: 19:13:02 Tgt: 19:32:34 IFF: M124/4/110/25320-3/36420-3 Mako1 3160 DEAD 4 KF-16C ROKAF Destroy enemy air defense assets T/O: 19:04:15 Push: 19:15:14 Tgt: 19:43:05 IFF: M124/4/110/25324-7/36424-7 Threat Analysis: Air-to-Air Threats: No enemy air response is anticipated.
