    The mission is a VDV platoon air assault on a USMC platoon fortified in a castle. At the player's disposal are 4 Hinds and 1 Su-27S under the direction of an attached air liason officer. The players' assault results in a massive counterattack including a company of M60 tanks and 2 platoons of marines, as well as 2 F-35s and 2 AH-1W Cobras. The mission's success relies on effective use of combined arms, it cannot be completed by using the airforce or infantry alone. An attached Igla team combined with the Su-27 are the only defence against enemy air assets and the armoured counterattack is well covered by anti-air, making it hard, but possible to repel the armoured threat with the Hinds alone, while still giving the infantry holding the castle much action.   The VDV ORBAT is based on this document, chapter 5, page 78 (http://www.globalsec...60/fm100-60.pdf) with some minor modifications (giving platoon leader and RPG gunners rifles).     Brothers of Kharga We have been informed that Libyan rebels just across the western border of Egypt have taken control of a dangerous chemical weapon captured from Gaddafi Loyalist forces after the liberation of a weapons stockpile. This weapon is believed to be currently stashed in the town of Tottah which was captured by Libyan Rebels 2 weeks ago. The rebels have ties to a radical islamist group known as the Brothers of Kharga operating in western Egypt who have connections in Yemen. The rebels are looking to hand this weapon off to the Brothers of Kharga, which can not happen. If this weapon gets in the hands of this group then they will use it in a devistating manor.
