    41 Player TVT   The mission is based on a fictional event if the Scottish independence vote were to fail in 2014.   The idea of the mission is that some rebel Scots want independence once and for all and have come across the opportunity to kill the British Prime Minister. Blufor must defend the prime minister while Indfor's objective is to kill him.   Blufor must stay in position in, or very close to the airfield they start at (the AO is clearly marked) and hold out until the mission ends (the time to hold out is a parameter).   Blufor can play motivational music by going up to the flag pole and using the action menu. Indfor can also play motivational music by going up to the land robers and using the action menu.   Other notes:
    • The Indfor "Runner" should be providing JIP transport, if feasible
    • This mission should easily be able to be played with less numbers

    2 Pilots have been shot down in the Ukanc Valley while returning from a supply drop.   A Blufor QRF search and rescue force has been mobilized and races to recover the pilots before enemy forces can arrive. Indfor races to capture the pilots. Strangely, Russian radio chatter has also been picked up in the area.   At least one "Lost Pilot" must be slotted.   Change log:   v2: Corrected bugs as outlined by Review Team:    
    1. The mission does not end when the end conditions are met, so when the pilots reach the capture zones for either blufor, indfor or opfor, the mission does not end. This mission does not end when the pilots are killed either, despite a hint saying the mission is failed.   2. The description does not make it clear that the pilots are required roles for the mission to function properly.   3. The briefing is of extremely poor quality and lacks detail. I would suggest following the briefing format outlined here. http://forums.united...post__p__232432 . In particular comsig was a major issue, with Indfor's being almost nonexistent. There is no mention that killing the pilots will end the mission in failure for all sides. Blufor and Indfor's briefings also make no mention of Opfors role in the mission, or that Opfor has access to Indfors radio frequency. While the mission makers intent may be to create a surprise, in its current state it would likely create a great deal of confusion and possible metagaming. Indfor and Opfor have no markers or exact grid references as to where they start, aside from a couple of vague references to an airport and a safe house in the briefing.   4. Balance is of a particular concern as well. Blufor have access to an A10, Opfor have access to a Hind. Indfor, however, has no AA capability to speak of. At least some sought of AA launcher or AAA vehicle would be suggested for them.   5. The actual concept of the mission may cause issues. The objective for the 3 sides is to capture or rescue the 2 pilots and bring them back to spawn. There is no good way for the Opfor or Indfor to capture them, however, and during testing, Opfor and Indfor players failed to be able to restrain the pilots, though they tried. The fact the mission ends in failure if the pilots are killed makes coercion an issue as well. The pilots have access to a rifle, which means there could be a situation where the pilots can shoot up the Infor and Opfor, but they have no real way of returning fire.

Briefing updated, OPFor in particular has been addressed although I would emphasize that the mission be treated as if the OPFor team was not known, this however is not possible due to many reasons. Again, fixed, but not ideal. Wounded pilot also mentioned in Lost pilot briefing.   4. A-10 removed and AA launchers added to both Blufor and Indfor teams.   5. Surrender module + keycuffs as well as wounded pilot (reason to surrender), weapon has also been removed and radio is non-functional (broken in crash), only defensive tool for pilots are any found on dead enemy units. Note: The Pilots are both disabled, one has damaged arms (shaky gun handling if he finds one) and one has broken legs (must be carried by other pilot-easier to capture.) Pilots are now set to civilian and note has been made in the Notes section on how to transport them.   v1: Corrected and implemented all scripts: first stable and complete version of mission. Mission now ends on capture/return of pilots to enemy/friendly starting area.

The fighting has been fierce, with the US backed Hashistan Government fighting to suppress the Al-Queada backed Sons of Allah group.   Hashistan is a small, underdeveloped country, with a history of warfare and fighting that has blunted any attempt to upgrade it's infrastructure, and has a population of only thirteen million.   The Sons of Allah are a group of terrorists who wish to bring hardline Sharia law to the democratic Hashistan, as well as cutting all links with what their leader, Omar Shieed, call the 'Western Infidels'. This would cripple Hashistan's economy, as it is heavily reliant of the trade of Oil to the USA. Despite this, many of the people of Hashistan are sympathetic to their cause, due to atrocities commited by a joint US/Israel war in the country fifteen years ago, which placed the democratic government in power, replacing the older, corrupt, monarchy   The country still bears the marks of that bloody war, in which over ten thousand Hashi soldiers were killed, along with an unknown amount of civilians killed in the crossfire, or by Coalition bombing raids. It's people are used to fighting, most having served in various armies and insurgent groups.   Twelve years ago US + IDF forces pulled out combat troops after a brief and bloody COIN operation (Operation Burning Bridge), leaving only USSF to continue operations and to train the Hashistan National Army (HNA) Hashistan National Uniformed Police (HNUP). However, these units were unable to successfully complete the counter insurgency mission and the Monarchist were able to ally themselves with the Sons of Allah and make an attempt at retaking the country. Used the wrong version of GDT, my apologies.   V3: Changed mission name, to fit in the mission series. Changed T80s to T72s. Gave SLs on opfor Long Ranges, and the command squad 343s. Fixed my fuck up with the spec pen. Fixed the set up time text.   V4: Increased Blufor AO limit by alot, reduced all vehicle ammo to about 50%, gave Blufor 1X Dragon per squad, gave Blufor 8 AT mines. Gave Blufor command squad radios and increased view distance to 3500.   V5: Edited briefing. Added a Tow Missile for Blufor.   US forces hold against a Russian Company (-) with A10 Support. Ace Wounds, Jip Teleport, No Respawn.

The PCRs open fire on the platoon, with captured Tunguskas, taking down every chopper. Now survivors from the crash must relink, rearm, and destroy the AA that took them down.

The 'attacking' force is Russian motor-rifles with BRDM-2s, defenders are irregulars with Russian kit and some distance to cover to collect their most powerful assets. Good reading of the mission notes currently required, will add markers to clarify if needed based on player feedback.   Russian forces are required to conduct a presence patrol (essentially by going close enough to a series of towns in whatever order) while guerrillas should eliminate them.   Change-log;   V1: Initial Release. - Removed due to various issues.
